The 1999 Delaware State Quarter
- Each state quarter collection card includes two brilliant uncirculated quarters: one has a Denver (D) mint mark and the other Philadelphia (P). These are the only US minted coins produced for circulation.
- Delaware became the 1st state to enter the union on December 7, 1787.
- The Delaware Quarter design features Caesar Rodney on horseback. Among other things, Rodney was a soldier, judge, delegate to the Continental Congress and Governor of Delaware. He is honored for his historic ride to break the tie among Delaware's delegates in favor of the Declaration of Independence.
- Mintage: 373,400,000 quarters were minted at the Philadelphia mint and 401,424,000 were minted at the Denver mint for a total of 774,824,000 Delaware quarters minted during it's 10 week production span.
